Contaminated Packaging

Contaminated Packaging is hazardous waste (EWC: 15 01 10* packaging containing residues of/or contaminated by hazardous substances). Packaging contaminated with oils, solvents, and other chemicals posses an environmental hazard, meaning it can not be traditionally recycled, or mixed with other non-hazardous waste. The result is a real challenge for waste producers.
